Am I required to give a financial offering during worship service?

Financial gifts from visitors are always voluntary.  Giving tithes and offerings is one way we, as believers, worship our Lord. Doing so is an expression of our love for and appreciation of our heavenly Father, and demonstrates our recognition that all we have comes from Him. We encourage all to give their tithes and offerings at the appointed time during worship service.

When do you serve Communion?

Holy Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is served on the first Sunday of every month.

Can a visitor take Communion?

If you have put your faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as your personal Savior, you are welcome to take Communion with us. We partake of this symbolic act as a tangible reminder of Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation.

How do I become a member if I decide to join?

Should you believe the Lord is prompting you to join our family of faith, you can do so during the Invitation, which directly follows the sermon.  Come forward during the invitation and tell the pastor that you want to become a member of NFMBC, and we will take care of the rest.  If you prefer to join more privately, please let one of the church ushers know, and you will be directed to an individual who can assist you.

JOIN OUR CHURCH FAMILY:

By Baptism: For one who has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and desires to obey Christ by being baptized by immersion.

By Letter: For one who is saved, has been baptized by immersion after being saved, and is a member in good standing of another Baptist church.

By Statement: For one who has been saved and baptized by immersion after being saved, but is not a member of another Baptist church.

Do I have to belong to your denomination to attend?

We welcome people from all denominations to attend our worship services and hope you will come again and again. As Christians, we are called to fellowship with other believers; we should each have a church home. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance to discover His desired home for you. If you feel led to join our fellowship, please respond to the Invitation, which directly follows the sermon.
